ETS: All they said was he's still unconcious and is suffering from pelvic and head injuries

Nassau police Officer Kenneth Baribault remained in critical condition Monday morning after a suspected drunken driver plowed into his cruiser during a traffic stop in Plainview, police and a hospital spokeswoman said.
But his sister said late Monday morning that she's seen signs of improvement.
"He's doing a little bit better today," said the sister, Danielle Rella, 24, of Fort Salonga. She declined to give details of her brother's medical condition.
"Today we feel a little more optimistic -- we're encouraged."

On Sunday afternoon, doctors removed part of the officer's skull to relieve swelling and he was in a coma. Hospital officials declined to say whether he remained in a coma Monday.

The officer's family owes a great deal to the firefighter who helped him right after he was hit, and the family would like to meet him, Rella said.
Also, she said, "If everyone could just keep Kenneth in their prayers -- we feel that's making a difference."
