Anybody else have a wedding Wed july 4th....
We have a wedding on Wednesday July 4th and DH has to work Thursday...

that's crazy!
i mean, i know its not a "BIG" holiday in the sense of Thanksgiving and such, but still..... 
Have lots of fun though!!!! at least you're guaranteed good food whether rain or shine

My best friend got married on the 4th in 2000 - it was Tuesday and I took the Wednesday off. But not sure if I would've if it wasn't my best friend. Met my DH at her bachorlette party on the Sunday 2 July

My sister best friend got married July 4th 2005. It was a monday and I had to go to work the next day - A little bummer but it was a good wedding.

My cousin was married on July 4th 1999 as a tribute to my grandparents who were married July 4th, 1936.
All I can say is I will never make the mistake of holding a function on a holiday weekend - an outdoor wedding, 95 degrees, traffic on the Southern State

I have a rehearsal dinner on the fourth, and the weddng on the fifth. DH is in the wedding, but is refusing to go to the RD for more than an hour, since we had planned on being on our boat for the fourth (only got info on RD last week).
