Anybody having a hard time sleeping with DH?
I really mean sleeping, not sex. I'm having a hard enough time sleeping, but if he's in the bed I can't get comfy. I am always tossing/turning/itching/sniffing. I feel like I'm keeping him up. And his snoring sounds like it's gotten 10 times louder. I've been sleeping about 3 hours total(on/off) per night, usually on the couch. What can I do? I'm a freakin' zombie. I feel horrible that I'm looking forward to him going on overnight shifts for a week. I can't keep this up. I'm into week 20 now and it's been happening for weeks now.

No I put the body pillow between us & we have a King bed, so we are pretty comfy. He can sleep through anything, lucky for me, b/c I am up at least once an hour.

Not really, and we only have a Queen size bed. He does complain every once in a while that my body pillow takes up his space, but he has learned that it's not wise to complain about that!!!!
When we were on vacation last week, the bed was a King, and we were IN LOVE!!! It was hard downsizing when we came back!

Re: Anybody having a hard time sleeping with DH?
Well.... I'm not sure DH and I have gotten a total nights sleep together in a long time In the beginning I just couldn't get comfy in the bed, so I went to the couch and it was heaven.
Now that I'm much bigger, it's not so comfy on the couch, movement wise. I'm always tossing and turning now and I'm the one that's acquired the snoring issue So, DH has taken to the couch
The way I see it... it's not like we talk while we're sleeping, or play games, or anything like that... we're asleep. So.. if we start out together in bed and he eventually moves, or I do... what's the difference? If we've got "business" to take care of, we'll do that before we fall asleep

That's like when I was in the hospital and the doctor asked me if I had any problems mating. I patted my pregnant belly and said 'obviously not'. DH then said 'Kel, he asked if you had problems URINATING.'
I need to look into this body pillow thing.

I think the major problem is that we rarely go to sleep at the same time. He is usually out cold by the time I get home from work. Oh the joy!!!!

Re: Anybody having a hard time sleeping with DH?
YES!
He has this terrible cough since the surgery. But if he takes NyQuil or something he is usually fine until the morning.
Last couple nights, not so much.
Plus the snoring!!
But the issue is, he doesn't wake up enough for me to get him to go to the couch if he's taken NyQuil.
So the conversation goes something like this:
ME: (after flailing about like a kid throwing a temper tantrum) "Honey, I'm sorry, I need you to move to the couch."
HIM: "Okay....I'm going now....zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz"
ME: "Scott!! I need you to move, I can't sleep here and I can't fit on the couch."
HIM: "Okay, okay, I'm up.....ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ"
ME: Crying for two hours until I'm so exhausted I pass out.

Re: Anybody having a hard time sleeping with DH?
Thankfully, DH is a quiet sleeper BUT our bed is too small for the body pillow, him and me! He hogs the pillow space and the foot space

Im having a real hard time with his snoring and sleep apnea...Ive become an increasing light sleeper. It wouldnt be so bad if he just would stop sleeping on his back!!!

Re: Anybody having a hard time sleeping with DH?
Your increased sensitivity to noise is something I can totally relate to. I have to wear ear plugs. Dh is a heavy breather (no snoring though), but I've never had a problem sleeping because of it until I was pregnant. I have to wear earplugs. They really help though, I sleep well now.
