Re: Anybody pro-life?

Let me start by saying that I hope all goes well regarding your medical condition. When I read your original post, I was skeptical. I don't know if that story is true or not. I have my doubts. With that said, posting that on the TTC board was grossly out of line and extremely inconsiderate. While you are, certainly, entitled to your opinions and beliefs, a posting of this nature can cause undue grief for some women. There may be women on that board who have conceived and lost babies and something like this only adds to their sorrow. I am a Catholic Christian and not a believer in abortion. However, I do believe that this is an individual choice and it is solely between a woman, her doctor and God. I am in no position to judge anyone and I believe no one else is either. No one knows what brings a woman to make that choice, but, I do know that it is not an easy choice to make for most. Living with that decision is difficult enough without having people, who believe they know better, preaching that you are a "sinner" and God will condemn you for what you have done. They don't know what God will do and they, really, shouldn't speak for Him. He's perfectly capable of speaking for Himself. I respect your right to say what you feel and what you believe. However, one needs to be sensitive to others when doing so and, also, needs to respect the thoughts and actions of those individuals as well. I don't think anyone responding would want to hurt feelings, but, quite frankly, this is a touchy subject and one that some have strong opinions of. I wish you luck with your medical condition and I hope you can see the other side of the issue.

Re: Anybody pro-life?

I feel you were not sensitive to others on the TTC board, but I think you like drama and that is what you were looking for. I am sorry that you have a tumor and I wish you luck with it, but in my opinion, we all (on the TTC board) have enough going on in our lives without fulfilling your need for drama.

BTW, I will not tell you if I am pro choice or not, as I dont feel this is what you wanted to know I truly feel you just wanted to start something because you needed to.

Sorry, if I am too harsh, but thats how I feel.

Re: Anybody pro-life?

Stayingout of the other discussion...

I'm ideaologically/morally pro-life, but I'm not sure that I, or the government has a right to dictate that to someone else. I'm just not sure.
I won't be marching at any parades, for or against.

I think what we really need is better sex education and access to affordable birth control

I was thrown under the bus with what I thought was a feel good story for those of us TTC, but I found out WRONG!!!! Geesh, I am now diagnosed to have a pituitary tumor and I'm glad no one here is my doctor.

It looks like I'm on the wrong website for people that care for others. Is anybody else there? Or shall I move on?

CAre for others are you serious ..... DO you see the Fund's that go on for people .. we have had people face unimaginable situations and all the gorls/guys rallied to help so please do not come here and state that we are not caring... you are out of line and off base.

Why is everyone being so mean to her. I don't think she meant for this to get this far. Cut her some slack. These boards are here for us to post our thoughts and opinions. I agree that she chose the wrong board to do so, however lets not be so cruel. Give the girl a break.

Did you see the original thread? She wasn't extremely endearing in her responses to those whose opinions differed from hers.

I think it may have also been this comment:

"It looks like I'm on the wrong website for people that care for others."

Although I didn't reply to any of her posts, I don't appreciate being told that since I'm pro-choice, I don't care about others.

let's not forget her "apology "

Posted by waterspout4

I am sorry for posting what I thought was a feel good story. And to those of you that are thinking I'm not trying to TTC, you're wrong!!! I was just found, on my brain MRI, to have a tumor. I needed some inspiration. You can all enjoy TTCing without my prayers now. I'm done now with this site that I see that there are no pro-life people on here.

which FYI, she posted this "apology " over on TTC!!
