anyone a member of the Bay Terrace Pool club?

I am planning on joining this summer

and of course DH wont go with me

I was wondering if anyone was a member and had any feedback on it

I really just need a chair and a pool to jump into when I get too hot- and of course a snack bar is nice

We were members for a year, it was overpriced for what they offered. Buy a cheap chair because it will be trash by the end of the summer.

Worked there...been a member since my first summer..haha..I get to go for nothing..I work/worked for the Y and my parents still go..it's good for what you're looking for..they provide chairs, umbrellas, tables for cards, etc...on weekends, just plan on getting there a bit early for a seat if you prefer a certain section...any more questions, let me know..I am VERY familiar..lol

ETA. inquire about coupons and specials..they do exist..i have some contacts, too..I can see if they help...

did you work at the Y on little neck parkway or

the bay terrace county club on 24th ave?

I am thinking of the one on 24th ave- I can walk there

i worked at the y behind the bay terrace shopping center, on 23rd ave...i worked at the one in little neck, too..same y...as for the one on 24th..i think i would recommend the y only because the other one is odd..you need to buy shares, bring your own everything, etc. plus i think they restrict some swim times and i dont know if they have a snack bar, etc...
