anyone actually ever use johnson's baby oil?
i got two huge bottles at my shower  and now i am thinking i might not even use them?
i prefer the lotion for myself, do you use the oil for your DCs? and if so, what do you use it for mostly? TIA!!

I used it for DD's cradle cap once but it left her hair looking greasy and didn't really work.

I used it for DD's cradle cap once but it left her hair looking greasy and didn't really work.
I've used it for DSs cradle cap twice and it worked. It takes 2-3 baths to completely wash out of his hair though.
It can be a good moisturizer for yourself. The nail lady is always telling me to use it on my cuticles.

MY SIL's ped told her to use that on DS when he was little after baths instead of lotion.

I use it to remove all of my eye make-up.
I also use it in the shower after I'm done. It makes my skin super soft.

I have about 5 bottles from DS#1 that are now ready to be used for DS#2 
I tried it once for cradle cap and it was disgusting. Took days to get out.

I used it for his cradle cap but it caused a rash and also I use it to clean behind his ears. I put it on a cotton ball. It works better then soap.

its great to remove those temporary tattoos and put it on your skin before you paint.. it keeps the paint from sticking to your skin so when you wash it come RIGHT off.

Oil on your eyes?? lol Wouldn't it be bad if it got in your eyes, make them blurry?
I never used the baby oil on my kids, to greasy!

It is great to shave with and use a drop on your skin after the shower. I never used it on DS though.

ooh - get out. Do you rinse it off in the shower or keep it on
I have never used it for DS!

I never used the baby oil on my kids, to greasy!
I put it on a cotton ball and take my mascara off then wash my face with my facewash stuff. I get a little blurry but after I wash my face, I'm as good as new!

We actually use it everyday on DS. Everynight before his bath we take baby oil and give him a baby massage (He is 5 mths and we started this as soon as his umbilical cord fell off). We always start on his tummy, then his legs, then his arms, his back and finally a bit on his head. The oil just makes the massage so much easier. We then bathe him and it all comes off. DS LOVES it and looks forward to it. We started this as a ritual and when 7pm comes and he is ready for bed.
In fact, DH says he is jealous and wishes he could get the same treatment everynight!

i used it on DD once after her bath.. a little greasy but i hardly used much at all. Its supposed to work better than lotion after a bath. I still prefer lotion though

That stuff has a ton of uses but I have never actually used it on the baby....so my answer is going to be NO...

i use the baby oil every night. i put a couple of drops in DD's bath right before she gets out. i just rinse her body, i dont pour it over her head or get it in her eyes. it leaves her skin so soft.

I've had one tiny little bottle for a few years now and it's still pretty much full. I've only used it a few times with each DC for cradle cap and that's it.
