Anyone been to a Beaches Resort?

Can you tell me about it? What is the child care like? How are the children's activities? Are there nighttime activities?

No but I'd love to hear more about them - we are thinking about planning a trip to Beaches Turks & Caicos next spring. Chat Icon

We went to Beaches Turks & Caicos back in November.

Not sure if you know or not, but they have Sesame Characters there. The resort is very kid friendly. They have a day care / camp there. You register your child and can put them in the a.m. or p.m. session, or leave them in there the whole day. They give you a pager (in case your child isn't too happy or they need to get in touch with you). We used it once for 1/2 day - Delaney liked it. (If your child is in day care, it's very similar to that type of atmosphere). Each day they provide you with a schedule of the activities of what's going on around the resort, dancing w/Zoe, breakfast with characters, etc. It was really really great.

Every night they have a show; some are character related, the children get to go up on stage and other shows are just that - shows like dancers performing, etc.

The food was ok; not the greatest, not the worst.

We went in November and the weather was wonderful.

One other nice feature is they have a photographer that is around all day taking pictures. When you check into the resort, book an appt with the photographer for around 5:00 - you'll get amazing pictures - they take you down to the beach and get gorgeous sunset pictures. Buy one picture (if you like it) bring it home and scan it at kinkos or somewhere and then print out your own copies for ALOT less money.

The staff was wonderful, teh resort was clean. I definitely recommend it.
