Anyone been to the new La Piazza that opened up?
How is the food? Is the menu similar to the Plainview one?

I work down the block and have been there several times for lunch. I've never been to the Plainview one, but I've been to the Merrick one. The new one has pizza items on the menu, but does not have a pizza walk up counter like in Merrick. I've had a few pasta dishes, salads, pizza and gelato. All have been very good!

I went to the new one a few weeks ago. MUCH higher end than Plainview and Merrick. There's no take out in the "restaurant" side, and they don't do any slices. The restaurant side seems like it's trying to be a nice italian restaurant.
Next door is "La Piazza Pronto" which is strictly take out. No sit down at all.
