anyone buy a pre owned car form adealership pros? cons?

I am new to this so i have dumb question can you lease a pre owned car or do you have to buy it? Did you have good experience with it?What dealership didyou use? How many miles did you have on it.?What is still under warrenty?

Some dealerships do allow you to lease a used vehicle. I have never done it but a friend has. Any issues were covered by the dealership.

I bought a demo from a dealership. It had a 7 yr extended warranty (longer then if you bought it brand new). Got a little bit of a price break and it had 1000 miles on it. It's an Acura.

We bought a used Honda Accord from PS Honda in Manhasset. It was a year old when bought it and only had 10K miles on it. So far no problems....

I can ask DH. I am pretty sure you can. I would guess since its used, its in your best interest to buy (in which you can finance the cost). FM me is you have any specific questions, DH has his dealership in Bayside...

We bought a one year old Nissan Murano with 19K miles. So far no problems. It cost us about $10K less than buying a new one. Good Luck.

DH bought a used Honda CR-V from CarMax. The car was 2 years old and only had 13K miles on it. The 5 years later we still have the car and have not had any problems with it.

I bought a previously leased '99 Honda CR-V at Honda City in Levittown in 2002. It had 40K miles on it. It now has over 110K miles and no problems. I bring it in regularly for maintenance. they have all the info in the computers, so they'll tell me what big-item things should be changed etc.
