Anyone CIO with siblings who share a room? Moms with twins maybe?

I would love to be able to do CIO with Xavier. The only problem is he shares a room with Rylan. Has anyone figured out a way to do this? He used to STTN but the past few weeks he wakes up 2 or 3 times a night...last night was about 7Chat Icon

I was thinking maybe takes Rylan out after he falls asleep and then putting him back in bed at some pointChat Icon

I'm bumping again because I am curious as well. Ainsley is almost 6 months so I wouldn't do it yet, but I know there might come a time when we need to do it.

Yeah it doesn't workChat Icon atleast not for me.

I have tried it a few times. I give them their last bottles in their bouncy seats and then they fall asleep and then I transfer them.

A few times my one DD is sleeping soundly and the other one will just not go to sleep because she wants to play but by 10PM it's enough already. So I put her in her crib and she screams and the other wakes up and then I have two screamiing babies.

My friend did this - she lives with her mom so I think she had her mom take her DD upstairs while she let her DS CIO for 3 nights - it worked really quickly for her, which was great.

In your situation, I would probably have Rylan sleep in the living room or with you until CIO works, or use a white noise machine so he can't hear Xavier as much. Chat Icon

I was thinking of letting Rylan fall asllep in his bed then transfer him to mine. He would be up until midnight if I had him with me from the start.

We have a white noise machine and the a/c on everynight.

So far Rylan has slept through Xaviers crying but he's only cried for long enough for me to hear him and come and get him. Not sure how it would work through CIO though.

Well, the first time we did it with DS, we let DD sleep in the pnp in our room so she wouldn't be disturbed.
Unfortunately, we've had to repeat CIO several times with DS since, and we dont' take her out anymore. She sleeps right through his screaming and crying like nothing is happening. Seriously, we've let DS cry for an hour +, and she sleeps and sleeps, doesn't even stir.
DS still has days sometimes when he wakes up and cries, and she still sleeps right through it. Their cribs are literally right next to each other, with no space inbetween them at all.
