Anyone create an email address for their baby?
I was watching Guiliana & Bill the other night and one of Bills friends was talking about how he set up email accounts for his kids and his family sends them notes. Such a cute idea and I'm mad I didnt do this when I first got pregnant. I am so bad with writing things in the baby book. I'm curious if others have done the email as well?

We did for DD. But we haven't shared it with anyone. We just wanted to make sure she had a gmail and google+ account in her name for the future...I'm eventually going to store digital pix of her in the albums so she has them when she gets older...

Anyone create an email address for their baby?
No but I keep meaning to! A while back I saw a youtube video where a dad did this for his daughter and sent her pics (and I think videos) as she was growing up. Such a sweet video and it totally makes me want to do that for my kids! I'm going to go find it now . . .

Yes, I started an email account after seeing this commercial. I send the cellphone pictures I take to the account with a little note about what was happening in the picture. OR if we are having a rough day, I send DD a love note.

This is a commercial my old ad agency did. It's great, but not real 
eta: the video of the kid is a real kid, but the story of the emails isn't.

Anyone create an email address for their baby?
I have been sending notes for about 3 years now. I wish i would send more but of course, life keeps us busy, etc.. Save it for the special moments and the very cute moments of their life.

Some people have even gone so far as to google search names before naming their newborn to see what comes up and what will be associated with that name.
Can't say it's something I've ever considered but it's not a half bad idea.

I did this with my daughters name as the account email so she can have it when she is older. I have sent emails to it sporadically so she can know what I was thinking when she was little.

Anyone create an email address for their baby?
We didn't but I have been writing letters to him since he was born.
Each month I go into a word document I have on my computer and write about what happened that month, any milestones, fun memories and just basic I love you's. They are about 8-10 pages long and filled with as much stuff I think is important that he know and just plain old funny stuff.
I end each one on his birthday, print them out, seal them in an envelope marked with the year I wrote about - 1st year, 2nd year etc...and put them in his baby keepsake box. I plan on giving them to him on his 18th birhday.
I've documented his life in these letters thus far...I smile when I go back and see how fast these 3 years have gone by and cry a bit too :)
