anyone else feel broken?
I know getting pg sometimes takes awhile and I'm only going into month 4 but I'm just feeling down and broken. I look at all the women around me with their baby bumps or their new beautiful babies and I'm so happy for them but it just makes me feel damaged.

I try to look at it as you never know what someone's journey was like. The happy smiling pregnant people you see around you may have had an easy time getting there or a very difficult time. TTC is rarely easy for anyone these days and at least we have places like LIF to go and vent to each other.

YES! I know its normal for it to take a while, and lots of women have PCOS but I feel kind of like I am failing at being a woman because I am not ovulating and menstruating like I am supposed to. And my husbands reactions don't really help. He looks at me like "Really? Still nothing? ", as if it's all my fault and I am choosing this. I know that's NOT what he thinks that's just how I am letting it make me feel.

I absolutely feel defective. Not only does it take a lot to GET pregnant,, but it also take a lot to STAY pregnant. I lost 3 pregnancies in the past year, all from infertility treatments (to clarify, the losses were not related to the fact that it took fertility treatments to get there!!)
I see people get pregnant on the first try, have their uncomplicated pregnancies and healthy babies and can't help but think to myself............. why can't that be me?!?!

I felt broken when I had to come to terms with seeing a RE. It took 17 cycles, medication and an IUI for me to ever even see a 2nd line on an HPT.
Now I'm pregnant with  and have had a complicated pregnancy that has involved more medication, stitches in my cervix to keep it closed, weekly visits to the Dr., multiple visits to the hospital including being admitted for 5 days, strict bed rest for the foreseeable future of the pregnancy and living with the constant fear that I may not be physically able to keep the babies cooking long enough to keep them out of an extended stay in the NICU when they do arrive.
So yeah ... I guess I still feel broken, and I still wonder why my body can't do the things it was "made" to do.

I haven't been through what some of you gals have, but I feel so fuucked! Just as I was planning to TTC, no more period. I also feel old, which is making me feel anxious and the cramps and nausea aren't helping.
Ugh.

none of us are damages...and i wish the journey could be half the fun but sometimes its not.
we have to keep positive and know that when its our turn, we will all have beautiful, happy & healthy babies to love

This will be the 8th month of "not being careful", and the 3rd month of us really trying and I can't tell you how hard this has been for us. I was told it was going to be a long road, but I thought we may be the exception.
I keep telling myself that it WILL happen, when the time is right. I was born to be a mother and I will. Just wish the right time was now

This is our 4 cycle and last month was hard but, that my have been more cause I had a million signs pointing BFP. But it hurts but, staying positive because it will happen!!!!
