Anyone else feel like a space case?
I swear - I feel like I walk around in a daze all the time - and I'm making all these stupid mistakes lately - its not like me and I hate it - I'm afraid by the time this baby is born, I'm going to earn a reputation as the biggest air head!!!!

My brain is full of holes- today I saw one of my students in the hall, and for the life of me I could not remember her name. I ended up calling her by the wrong name and then I felt like a bigger idiot. That's just one example of many.

ALL the TIME!
Example:
- I Put an english muffin in the toaster and walked away..The toaster popped up....I walked into the kitchen, opened the mocrowave and there was nothing in it....I sat back down and spent 5 minutes thinking I had a ghost because the microwave went off on its own before I realized it was the TOASTER that popped up!

I can totally relate. I am so ditzy and clumsy...I actually saw something on 60 minutes or some news show a few months back that was about the brain and it said when women get PG they temporarily lose 6% of their average brain use because their body goes into SURVIVAL mode. They basically said, you become more aware of your surroundings and can pretty much KILL someone if you had to in order to protect yourself and the baby, but you lose common sense. It said 6 months after the baby is born you regain your brain!
