anyone else follow teh strategies in "The Baby Whisperer" book?
i folowed this with my dd and it worked from day 1, which was really the start of week 3 bc i didnt start it on day one of her lifeoer wvenw hen we first got home.. With my ds i cant seem to wake him and keep him a wake for Actiity time like the book suggest. Any ideas?

hmmm..I followed it, but I never woke him. Actually, I didn't even know I was following it. It think it has a lot to do with your baby's temperment. Steven was a cross between angel and textbook. Maybe he is a different personality and I think she gives different tips for that personality.
Do you feed him as soon as he wakes up? If so, then he should be awake for activity.
Eat Activity Sleep You time
Is the problem that he's taking the feeding then falling back asleep?

Also, don't forget...changing diaper, humming, rocking, that's all activity in the newborn stage.
