Yeeeeeesss. I have something going on with one of the teeth on my left side and I've been putting it off for way too long just because I hate going.
I'll have to face the fear very soon though since it's getting to the point that I can't eat on that side!

I dont hate the dentist quite as much as the doctor or OBGYN ..
BUT its still not my favorite at ALL
IN fact, my uncle was my dentist .. and for as long a he was in practice (I got free cleanings, dental work, the whole 9) I would never EVER even bother going to HIM

Yes because every damn time I go, they find something else  I go for a cleaning and I walk out with a swollen mouth and three more appointments.

I don't mind going for a cleaning but anything more I HATE. I swear in the last couple years I have so much anxiety sitting in that chair that I think I need to pop a valium before going

I used to hate it!!! I even threw up on one when I was little! BUT a few years ago I found a very gentle and nice dentist, and since then I dont mind going. He even offers you numbing cream for the cleaning!

i go basically once a WEEK, so any inhibitions i might have had are long gone by now. i guess its a necesary evil- and the price to pay for good oral hygeine, and a Beautiful smile

I'm probably one of the odd ones that actually doesn't mind going to the dentist. I inherited my parents bad gums and teeth and therefore always have problems despite how well I take care of them. So therefore, they know me on a first name basis at my dentist.

you can get topical put on your gums if cleanings hurt you, it will slightly numb you.
