anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
i know that sounds strange! what i mean is i am 25 weeks and i have felt the baby move a lot and all but i don't know if something is wrong or if this baby is just lazy! is there anyone else who doesn't feel movement at every hour? or has very active periods then like nothing at all? hoping someone can put my mind at ease! thanks!

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
At 24 wks 3 days, I definitely notice days where the baby is less active than others. His new hobby is becoming really active when mommy is trying to sleep. And when I say active, I mean ACTIVE...kicking, punching, shifting around constantly, etc. Then the next night, he'll move only a little bit. My dr. says its normal at this stage.

I notice that once I lay down he starts kicking me - and even now when I drive he does - but other than that I don't feel him that much.
If I ever get worried I'll have some Cherry Coke and that wakes him right up!

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
Some babies are just more active than others...
They are usually more active at night than they are during the day..my pediatrician was the one that explained it to me actually..he said that during the day you are moving around and your movements tend to rock them to sleep..then at night when you want to rest they are up and moving around..that is why most babies have their days and nights mixed up when they are born...

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
Your post made me chuckle. I am not as far along as you, but at my last appt, the sono tech was pushing around on my belly to try to get the baby to move. When s/he finally did it was more of like an aggiravated move, like, hey, leave me alone, I am comfy in here!! I hope that s/he becomes more active soon. I am going today for my 18 week appt so we will see!! :)

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
My little munchkin is pretty quiet. At all of the sonograms we see her just relaxing - thumb in mouth and just a few kicks here and there. I feel her shift and move a lot more than I feel the kicks. Although I definitely feel her kick and punch more when I am sitting at work and at night in bed.

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
Mine was the same way until yesterday, a co-worker asked if it felt him/her a lot and I was like not all the time, he/she basically hasn't stopped moving since, much more often than ever before. I will be 26 weeks tmw.

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
My little boy was so lazy inside of me, I hardly felt him.....now that he is 7 months, he is a nice happy - laid back baby!!!!! hopefully your quiet/content baby will stay that way when they are out in the world!

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
Just thought it would be fun to add - I was a lazy baby. In fact my parents were really concerned, but I was just a really lazy baby (and I turned out ok )

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
Mine is definitely lazy some days. I get worried when I don't feel as much movement as some days, but every time I do get worried, like last night... I was up at 4 getting kicked! and now sitting here at the computer... getting kicked!
Mine takes a few days off here and there and then makes up for it.

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
ON some days my baby is lazy. I am starting to feel the baby much more now lately. Usually after I eat, when i am sitting at work and when i lay down at night. But when that liitle peanut gets moving he/she gets moving and their no stopping him/her.

Re: anyone else have a "lazy" baby?????
My son NEVER moved. I would have to go to L&D at least once a week to have a sono since I wouldn't feel him.
He was fine just lazy.
