Anyone else in the NYC Marathon lottery?
Lottery is coming up soon!! I've never done a full marathon, only half marathons so if I get in it would be my first. I've been having trouble with plantar fasciitis so I've been thinking of taking my name out for this year. Still have a few days to decide, but leaning toward staying in!

Me! I ran it last year, it was my first one and was such an awesome experience! I got in with a charity last year, but put myself in the lottery this year. Not sure if I'll definitely do it, depends on how my body handles training again. I might have to defer it to next year. But we'll find out soon! Good luck!

I would stay in. My sister was in it 3 years and never got a number so then you automatically get on the 4th year (i think). So even if you dont run this year it will give you better chances of getting a number in the future.

ITA about keeping your name in. It will either be one year closer or if you do get in you can defer it until next year.
