Anyone else notice the taxes on MLSLI has changed once again
I am actually very happy about this. For awhile they were listing:
TOTAL TAXES then underneath VILLAGE TAXES which is confusing bc some people might make a mistake and ADD the number together. Now they are listed as just TOTAL TAXES.
I am happy about this change.

Wait, I thought you were supposed to add the taxes together? that wasn't correct? (ps im not being sarcastic)

Well no.
It used to say for example:
TOTAL TAXES $10,000
Village Taxes: $ 2000
And people I know ofr a fact were adding the 2 together and saying the taxes were 12,000.
But that is incorrect. The TOTAL TAXES are the TOTAL TAXES including village.
FOr my house it was such confusion bc people were thinking my taxes were higher than what they really were!!

Ah thank you! yes I was adding those numbers together, I really had no clue. Thanks for mentioning this :)
