ANYONE ELSE THINK THAT BETTE MIDLER WAS HORRIBLE ON AI LAST NIGHT
I was soo disappointed i really like that song and to me she was just off.
ETA:
At the end of the song they showed Jerry Springer in the audience and he looked like he was crying A LOT! He seems so sweet after seeing him on dancing with the stars with his daugheter and all.

Ugh! She was awful! DH and I both watched her performance like 
And what was with the wings? I mean really, there's performing and then there's silliness and the wing movement was a little silly IMO.

I agree she did seem to be off key.

Absolutely! I was thinking....good thing she wasn't COMPETING for AI, she would have been booted off.

I totally agree. I didnt see her til today since I TIVOed it and with all the posts about her and her movements while singing, I expected her to be horrendous and looking out of sorts. She seemed out of tune a bit, but wouldnt say she was awful. I thin as far as her hand gestures while singing, thats just part of her persoanlity to the song.
