Anyone else's dog hate the rain?
My dog is miserable when I take her out in the rain. All she wants to do is go inside, and it is so hard to get her to go potty. Yesterday I brought her out and she refused to go pee. I get back inside and she goes wild running room to room and rubbing her body against the rugs. Then she runs over to her towel and pee's on it. UHH!!!

It's almost impossible for my dog to poop in the rain. I have to literally push him out the door, then he stares at me with his ears back and droopy eyes like "let me in mom!!"

quinn HATES it... even when i walk to his favorite spot with him, he just stands there staring at me like "i'm not gonna go, so you may as well take me back in"... he's such a priss, he won't walk in a puddle and if there is snow on the ground, he will make sure to walk around it, or he'll just stare at you until you help him

yes, yesterday morning they didnt even go out. So basically they held their poops and peeps from 8 the night before until we got home at 530 the next day. They are nuts!!!!

she gives us dirty looks when we try to take her out - like, "yeah RIGHT - i'm not going out there!" and then if i try to force her - she puts the brakes on - paws to the floor!!!  
she'll even moan and groan at me

I thought he did until yesterday! He was getting drenched and wanted to play with the birds. He did not want to come back inside.

yes! I have to go out with him to get him to pee. But he will hold in his poop all day (and get farty) until he can't hold it anymore

Same here, Arnold hates it. He'll run outside really fast, pee and then he wants back in FAST!
I've tried walking him on the leash to keep him focused, I've tried using a big golf umbrella so that we're both covered (sometimes that works) but yesterday he was just not having it!
So out the newspaper came and he went on that.

Omg, that's Kasey all right!!
Last night I got home and went to let her out. She realized it was raining and wouldn't come to the door. So I close it and we go back inside. She starts pacing and whining so I open the door for her again. Now she gets her front paws out and that's it, back inside. A few minutes later, back to the whining. I had to explain to her that Mommy can't stop the rain!!!! So she finally goes out and I watch her just walking around, licking the puddles on the deck...for someone who doesn't want to be out there you'd think she'd hurry up and just do her business so she can get back inside!!!!!

yes jack hates it, sometimes i force him out and he walks a few steps and tries to run right back in the house,
and lately when its raining out he trembles so much his whole body shakes and he tries to jump into the tub because he somehow feels safe in their

My dog is a psycho in the rain! We know its going to rain from a few hours before, because she has a panic attack. She shakes, walks in circles, cries at the kitchen counter below the sink ( ), and will hide in the basement until its over, even for days. My sisters room is down there, so she will hide under her bed.
Even if there is no thunder, and its not raining that hard. She will not eat, sometimes she has gone the whole weekend, and we have to get her out from her hiding spot to bring her outside.
My mom has talked to the vet about this, but there really is nothing to do we were told. I just hate seeing her so upset.
