Both the school I work at and the one my kids go to are closed and the teachers have Staff Development Day.

We have Parent-Teacher conferences. Works out nice, since we also vote in the same school, so we have our conference, then just walk down the hall to vote...

Ours is closed(comsewogue) but it is Superintendants(sp?) Day
