Anyone elses plans change because of the weather?
My hubby and I planned on spending the night with friends but due to the weather we opted to stay home just us and the doggies! We figured why risk anything, between the ice and the drunks that'll be out tonight its just not worth it!
Anyone else staying in as a result of the weather?
HAPPY NEW YEARS EVE EVERYONE 2009 is going to be the BEST year ever

Yup DH and I elected to stay home as well...we're in NJ and had plans on LI....just did not want to haul out there in this weather.
So it's a Rock Band 2 night with just the two of us...and the little bumble.
2009 is gonna rule!! Happy New Year everyone!

Yeah-- I was supposed to go to a friend's house in Yonkers, but I am not driving in this! It sucks bc DH is working, so I am all alone!

Snow, Ice, windy and bitter bitter cold!! Its been snowing on and off all day and the roads are all ice!

yes... we had friends from the Boston area that were going to come down and spend the night with us...but the snow was really bad up there, so they didn't come. now, we're just staying home alone.

well, we never really had any plans really. i am past my due date...
we wwould have loved to have some friends over but it looks like it will just be the 2 of us!

We changed plans and it was for the best! We had such a good time.
We were going to go to Vermont with a group of friends- the weather was bad so we decided to stay home (we are leaving today instead)
4 other people who were on their way up decided to turn around and come home- so they came over- the girls through some food together- got some drinks together (for everyone else of course) and had a good time eating, playing games and listening to music!
I could not have asked for a better NYE (since I am not a fan to begin with)
Now--- off to Vermont-  the weather is okay!
