Anyone enrolled in Ed. D. program at Hofstra?
I want my doctorate, but NOT in administration. . . . I met a professor at Hofstra who runs this program and he thinks I would be a good fit.
Has anyone gotten an Ed.D. or other higher level degree at Hofstra. WOuld love to know more about the program, people, Hofstra in general, etc.

I am not, but am always in the back of my head WANTING to do one!
I had posted re: this a long time ago..there are definitely some ladies here who have done Ed.D .
(I dont want admin either! I had looked at several programs. I made myself a folder, then got lazy..)

Can't speak for that program BUT I am at Hofstra for Literacy and the professors are great. I believe some of them are part of that program as well! I am really enjoying my time at Hofstra

I'm in an Ed.D. in Instructional Leadership at St. John's. It's another option too. You have to pick two strands to concentrate in from a variety of options. If you're interested in more info, please FM.

I'm in the EdD at NYU but in educational leadership. I do love my program and have colleagues in other departments if you want more information.
