Anyone ever been to Joe O's bar across from Penn Station?

DH just called and said some of the guys from work were going to Joe O's, the bar in the Hotel Pennsylvania, to watch the mets-yanks game tonight. I'm going to meet them there. Does anyone know what they have in terms of food? Is it just bar snacks, or is there actually dinner-type stuff?

Yes - it's more of a bar/ grill type place. It's pretty popular. American type food. Regular meals, not just snacks.

It's funny, I can't find it at all on Citysearch or menu pages. I keep finding Charley O's, which is on the other side of 8th Ave.

It's on 33rd between Broadway and 7th ave. Closer to 7th. Directly across from the 7th ave entrance of MSG / Penn Station.

I almost applied for a bartending job there. Let me know how it is. Hey, what time is the game?

It was pretty quiet there tonight. The four of us were the only ones there for the game, but there were a few other mets fans around. The food was good, but not cheap at all. The restaurant seemed nice, but we were sitting up at a table by the bar. There were a lot of TVs to watch the game.
