anyone ever get dizzy spells?

I had to leave work today because I was extremely dizzy this morning. Thank god I could get a Substitute to cover me.

Driving home was scary but I made it without any problems. Came home, changed and went right to sleep.

Now the dizzyness is gone and I just feel tired.

This happened to me last week too. I eat breakfast every morning but don't know what else it could be. Now that its twice- I'm starting to get concerned.

Anyone have ideas/ help?

Maybe the changing weather? Are you staying hydrated? This happens to me at times, too. Feel better and rest. I'd say if it keeps up, maybe see a doctor....

maybe you suffer from vertigo? my mom has this and every now and then she just gets very dizzy and tired. have you seen a doctor about it?

It could be a lot of different things - low iron, allergies, vertigo, stress, migraines...etc.

Definitely meet with a doctor....

Happens to me when I'm dehydrated or when my allergies are at their worst.

Low iron, low blood pressure, and not enough food in my body is what does it to me. But usually only when I stand up from a sitting position.

If it's all the time, even when you're at rest, maybe it's time to get a checkup. I'd worry about driving that way.

It happens to me when i'm dehydrated. i've even passed out before.

be careful- try to get in to see a doctor.

you could also be pregnant- that is one of the signs.

i have something called benign positional vertigo. i get dizzy spells every now and then. it has to do with something in my inner ear. you can just google benign positional vertigo if you think thats what you may have. its not serious and it goes away on its own.

I would go to your DR - I had that a few months ago and I had an ear infection.

could be thyroid related too, easy to check with a blood test

This happened to me a few times when I was preggo. I think it was like a low blood sugar. See if eating something helps you out...

Once I took a nap, I woke up feeling better. I ate a PB&J sandwich a bit later.

I still feel unsteady but no longer is the room spinning.

Since it is the 2nd time, I think I need to call my doc and get it checked out.
I cant be taking days off just for dizzyness.

It could be a combo of Vertigo & dehydration. This is nomal.. You have to make sure you are hydrated!!! Take it easy & try not to stare at a computer screen too long. It puts stress on the eyes- this causes dissyness.

This happend to me last week when I woke up the whole room was spinning, it has a lot to do with sinus's, at least for me it does.

it could range anywhere from something benign like vertigo or an ear infectin to something more serious that needs attention. you should definitely seek a doctor.

This has happened to me for two reasons:

1. Allergies

2. Hypoglycemia- say I eat a donut in the morning (SUGAR!) if I haven't had anything else to eat in 2-3 hours I'm dizzy.

i used to get dizzy spells so bad to the point that i was almost passing out. usually it happend the day i was getting "aunt flo". my doc ran tests on me and everything was negative. she told me to drink some gatorade and stay well hydrated, eventually it went away. you should go to your doc.
