Anyone ever take the Air Train from Jamaica to JFK?
Approx how long does it take to get to JFK from the Jamaica station?
I'm afraid to get there late and miss my flight, but i also don't want to sit inthe airport for 2 hours.

it makes a big circle, so it depends on which terminal you need... but i'd allow 10-15 mins. they run pretty often too - i've never waited more than 3 minutes for the next train.

It's a 10-minute ride from Jamaica to JFK and about 10 minutes from Howard Beach to JFK. They run frequently, just make sure you get the one going in your direction. There are usually people stationed in the loading areas.

It's pretty quick and stops at every terminal like was pointed out above. I'd give myself extra time anyways more related to the LIRR running late!

It's very quick. Like 10 mins to get from Jamacia to the first terminal.

something like 10 min... and a new train arrives every 10 min or so.... to be safe, allot 20 min.... it's a great ride, though... goes straight to the terminal

It's a really easy - it took about 15 minutes and if I remember correctly it was $4 or $5
