Anyone exercising with a belly support belt?
I'm still running a few days a week but getting to the point where I feel like I may need a supportive belt. There are a lot out there and some need to be worn over clothes (ack) to avoid chafing. Anyone have any advice for which one to get and is comfortable (and preferably can be worn under clothes)?

Anyone exercising with a belly support belt?
I'm not sure of recommendations but I recently tried out my sister's belly support thing from Babies R us and I couldn't breath and got light headed. I ripped it off and still had to pull over take a breather and then call my husband to tell him to have the door open and water ready for me cause I was going to pass out.

OH jeez! Okay, hopefully that is not how it is with all bands! Amazon has a few but I'm trying to avoid doing what I did with maternity pillows --- just buying a million different ones before settling on what I like. I've been googling "running, pregnancy, support belt" and been coming up with some ideas but I am hoping to find some decent reviews!

Re: Anyone exercising with a belly support belt?
I am 24 weeks and have still been running (slower pace and shorter total distance, but still feeling good as long as I'm really hydrated) and I haven't been using one of these yet. I did however just get these workout leggings and I have to say I felt so much more supported wearing them. Prior to that I had just been wearing the larger of my regular workout leggings and making it work. These were pricey but worth it, totally. I think they will take me much further with the running. Have you tried anything like this prior to an actual support belt?

OOH I like these! You are right, I think these will help me! I've been disappointed with the selection for maternity run pants (guess there isn't much of a market ) and I end up running in yoga pants that have no support. I miss my running pants that have lots of pockets!
I've also been running shorter distances and much slower (guess that happens anyways when you have an extra 15 pounds on you!) and with a water bottle. Last night I actually had weird crotch pain and today my OB said he is head down and very low so that makes sense
I hope I can make it far into pregnancy running, but winter/snow may also change that. I know women that ran throughout the whole pregnancy and had easy labors so I hope the two go hand in hand. Good luck to you!
