Anyone familiar with Forest City Community Park in Wantagh
There is a magic show at 10:30 but it's so hot. Is there shade? sprinklers? Thanks!

It a beautiful park. There are lots of trees and benches and a lake. I have no idea about sprinkler but, I don't think so. I haven't been into the pool since I was kid but, we ride our bikes there with Liam for the playground. I don't know where the magic show is.. if it's inside the pool. .most likely no shade... I would think.. Outside.. then there is a good chance of shade.
I wish I had known. I would have taken DS today but, I just told my Mom I would drive out east.
Why do they always make shows right smack in the middle of nap time???

I know right? Liam just went down for his nap and he won't be awake in time for this I'm sure. We'll see

Actually there is some shade in the pool area now.
I think it's such a pretty park and very shady compared to a lot of others inthe neighborhood (Wantagh, Cedat Creek, etc). I would try it out- you can always leave, or just go to the pool if it gets too hot.
