Anyone feel guilty that they hate being pregnant?
I know that it is a blessing and we really wanted a sibling for my son, but I just hate being pregnant. I feel so badly that I am not one of those mom's who loves being pregnant, especially when there are women out their who are trying so hard to get pregnant right now and having trouble.

I completely agree. I've had a very easy pregnancy but still hate it.. the loss of control of my body, the food/drinking sacrificies, the non-stop appointments... but of course feel guilty that I'm being such a Debbie Downer!

I really want to have 2 DC but I REALLY hate being pregnant. I found it to be incredibly torturous. As long as you take care of yourself there is no need to feel guilty. It's a lot of stress on our bodies!

i feel your pain, this is my first pregnancy and def my last. i am having a hard time with the wegiht gain and feeling uncomfortable all the time. i just feel tired all the time and now i am at the point where i can't stand maternity clothes anymore either

James, you don't have to like being pregnant, I HATED it with Izzie, it was so farking annoying to not be able to do anything with Luca, and I felt like a cow the whole time. I am not doing it again if I can help it. However, just remember what being pregnant does for your boobies and I am sure you will see the positive side of things

Yes!!!!
We went through a lot to get to this point, so I feel like I should only be grateful and not annoyed at all. But, this hasn't been an easy pregnancy (lots of complications and little issues here and there). Plus, now that I am nearing the end, I am constantly uncomfortable.
I don't ever want to say out loud that I can't wait for it to be over, because I need my babies to "cook" a little longer.
But, I will be happy in a month from now!!!

Yes....
I loved every second of being pregnant with Samantha.
With this pregnancy, I've HATED every second.
I'm having a completely different pregnancy with this baby and I feel like it's just sucking the life out of me this time.

I go back and forth.. there are times when I love it.. but then the times where I feel nauseous or some other pregnancy related ailment I just get so down and negative  So, really my thoughts on being pregnant vary based on when you ask me!

I could have so written this post!!! THis time around seems so much harder and I am so sick all day I hate the loss of control over my body..... It's gonna be a long 7 more months for me and my hubby lol!!! we are blessed at the same time!!

OMG I totally feel guilty, I know we are blessed but I have had such a miserable time that I have hated every second! I want our little guy to "cook longer" and be healthy but honestly I can't wait for it to be over!

I had a fairly easy pregnancy, didn't gain a lot, didn't get sick, feel good, and I still HATE being pregnant. It's just not for me, wish I could do it in a month or a week for that matter. Your soooo not alone! As for feeling guilty, I don't, cause it's not for everybody, especially me!

I wouldn't say I hate being pregnant. I'm still in love with the idea, but I definitely hate being sick. I had pretty intense all-day-sickness for just about 8 weeks straight--puking every single day, usually multiple times. It's starting to let up now, but it's not gone yet.
It took me a while to get pregnant, so I often feel guilty complaining about being sick. I want to be that pregnant mama who's absolutely glowing and feels amazing, but so far I haven't been her.

aww, yea..i can't imagine being sick all the time. Hopefully it goes away soon, I'm sure ur still glowing tho

Oh you read my mind... I feel terrible for the people that are trying so hard but this pregnancy thing is not all its chalked up to be. I am starting to not even be able to tolerate the women who say they LOVE being pregnant... I ask them how? How do you love having no control over your body? How do you love wearing clothes that do not make you feel attractive any longer? How do you love being uncomfortable all the time? How do you love LEAKING from places you never thought possible until BF started? How do you love not being able to go about your daily life without constantly thinking about every move you have to make? I know its selfish in a sense b/c I understand the reward is going to be AMAZING; but the process to get there is NOTHING to LOVE!!

Im so happy that someone else posted this .....Glad that Im not the only one...I feel so bad I ask god to forgive me everyday....But I really hate being pregnant Im just so beyond miserable! I know that Im blessed but it is hard!

I'm not a huge fan either. I just hate the way I look, I am trying so hard to embrace it but I just see a body I fought so hard for fade away. I am also a runner and really feeling the effects of this lifestyle change. I miss my team long runs and was so determined to qualify for the Bostom marathon this October. I feel like I will never be the same.
On the other hand, I do know I am incredibly fortunate and blessed for all that I have. So psychologically I am all for this but emotionally I am just not there yet.

I hate being pregnant and I'm pregnant with #3! I get that its an amazing beautiful thing that our bodies can do, but I'm so over it. I want her out NOW! It doesn't help that tonight is perfect weather for sitting outside with a cold beer.

I have hip pains alot and cramping and terrible headaches... and I whine way too often about being pregnant.. but honestly.. overall.. I LOVE being preggo. I feel so special lol.
However I do feel guilty whenever I say I miss my flat tummy or feeling skinny etc.
