Anyone get their sonos done at Dr Hanauer's office?

I went last night for a growth sono & the tech was terrible. I was literally in there for 5 minutes and she didnt even let me see the screen or ask questions.
I have never dealt with her before all of the other ladies have been great so far. But I'm so disappointed I have to go back tonight for my check up and plan on giving a major complaint to Dr. H I have never felt so dismissed in my life.

She literally was like "lay down, pull ur pants down"....when I asked a specific question regarding the placenta she said " Everythings fine" & didnt even answer my question.

I'm sorry for the long vent I was just so looking forward to seeing my peanut & came out so sad instead.

How have your experiences gone with them?

So far we have had three out of office sono's. The sono techs are robots, disgusting excuses for human beings. They didn't greet us when we entered, just started the exam and did not say a single word. When I asked them to talk to me they would respond with "the doctor will discuss everything with you" if I asked if that was the arm.leg they would say yes or no. When they finished they left me laying on the table and just walked out after handing DH some of the printouts

This last lady we had was WONDERFUL, she had to beat me up basically to get teh shots she needed but she explained every single detail and was just a pleasure to work with! I wish they were all like that, some of them need to find new work AWAY from pregnant women.


ETA: nothing compares to a sono I had BEFORE pregnancy when I was SOBBING on the table and the woman did not even look at me, performed the exam, and left without saying a word to me.

I have only had one so far but I think I had the same woman as Tilde. She was such a pleasure. She showed me everything and answered all the questions I had.I am going to try to make my sono appointments on Tuesdays because that is the day I saw her.

I have had most of my sonos done at Hanauer's office. the woman who did my level 2 with my first child was terrible. I literally left there in tears. This pregnancy, so far the techs have been great. I just had my level 2 done this week at Madonna's office and will definitely have the rest of my sonos done there. I liked it so much better and felt that the few techs I interacted with were much more personable.

Non-Preggo crashing here.

When I miscarried in May, I had a sono done there. The tech was totally insensitive. Sounds like the one who I had. She was like "Do you want me to tell you if everything is alright?" In a very nasty tone. I was like "Ummmmm...I'm miscarrying, so I seriously doubt there is anything alright."

I was so ******. She didn't say anything the entire sono.

Was the tech from Madonna or Dr. H/Dr. D's office? I've have sonos with their tech, a Madonna tech and at Madonna's location in Mineola. Their tech was ok, the Madonna tech in their office was awful and the Madonna tech at Madonna's office was great.

Funny you posted this... I was there yesterday for a growth sono as well. She was HORRIBLE.. I was in and out of the room in 7 minutes.. I have never seen her before. Danielle usually does the sono. I was very disappointed.... I asked her to confirm sex, I asked is the baby in position and then I asked how much she weighs..? She turned to my hubby and said "geez she asks alot of questions." Let me know how your complaint goes with Dr. H.. I see her in two weeks.. And, I did not get to see the screen at all....

i go there too but the girl ive had for my growth sonos has been great...she even did the 3d for us (although our peanut didnt cooperate the 2nd time).

i forget her name but she has dark medium length curly hair and i assume she's italian.

i dunno if that's the same person u had...but id see if u can get another one and have it with someone else.

i got my first one there at nearly 32w...the sono tech told me to schedule another one 3 weeks later.

im going there on wed and can get her name if u want/need it.

ETA: i had mine done on a sat and on a fri (same girl)...so im thinking she works those days.

Yes it was a blonde lady on Wed. I've seen Diana and an afican american lady they were both very nice. This woman was just nasty. I believe her name was Paula at least thats what the sign in sheet said. My appt with Dr H was cancelled bc she was in L&D so I will see her next week & give my complaint then. I will let you all know how it goes.

I'm not ever going to see her again I'll make sure I ask who the tech will be when I make another appt.
