Anyone give their under 4 year old Children's Muciinex?
Three days into preschool and DS has a cold...stuffy, cough, head congestion. I looked up children's muscinex but it says 4 and up. Is there anything else that works on a cold? DS is nearly 3.

Unfortunately since too many people were stupid when it came to giving their toddler cold medicines, they can only be used in kids 4 and over now. It sucks!!!! I remember when I worked as a nanny it worked on the kids I watched. Took the edge off so they were comfortable. I give DS allergy meds to dry him up. It helps. Zyrtec and Claritin is good from 2 and up...

not much help bc I cant remember the dosage...but my ped had me give it to my 12 month old when he had pneumonia.
Maybe you can call the dr and ask. Hope he feels better
