Anyone go casual for their DC's 1st birthday outfit?
We are having it at our house and honestly, I am so upset that there are a million more outfits for girls than boys that say 1st birthday that I am giving up. 
We are doing a safari theme so I saw this on cafepress.com. What do you think?
I always imagined a "fancier" outfit but I dont know...

We had a luau at home and DD work a tropical theme top and pants. It wasn't fancy at all.

We had Victoria in her t-shirt (she had 3 birthday shirts) for the food and cake and then put her in another outfit for the rest of the day

I don't really dress DS up that much, so I would probably do the tshirt by choice. I would dress him up for a 1st Bday photo, but for a party I would want him to be comfortable and not worry about what he is spilling all over himself.

DS birthday is Wednesday..and his party is Sunday. I honestly havent given it much thought....but that's kinda the way I am...I'll see if I can find a cute Tshirt or something that kind of says "Caden" to me.

I'm probably doing a casual outfit too, we're doing a backyard thing. My girlfriend just had the same type of party too for her 1yr old and he was in shorts and a T...casual.

I think they are both adorable!
Thomas wore a striped polo shirt from Gap with jeans and a jean jacket. Party was outside in April.
