what medication were you on during your pregnancy?
Did you develop pre-eclampsia?
how was your pregnancy? any complications due to the BP?

I had pre-existing high blood pressure before pregnancy. From the beginning the Dr. treated me with Labetalol. He started with the lowest dose of 100mg twice a day. But my bp was still elevated with that dose so he went with 200mg twice a day.

I was due today and have not had major bp issues. It's been well controlled by the dr. with the medication from the very start.

The dr. made me take a 24 hour urine test in the beginning and just recently at 39weeks. He also made me do the 1 hour glucose tolerance test at 16 weeks and then between 24-28 weeks.

Know on wood, everything in terms of my BP has been OK and my pregnancy has been fairly normal for the most part, other than regular pregnancy complaints. The dr. thought he wouldn't let me go past my due date because of the bp, but because it has been good and I've done well in pregnancy he's letting me go until 4/20 before inducing me.
