It is perfect for an 8 year old boy...there was no cursing, no sex, and not a lot of violence.

And I'm in love with the guy who plays Lois Lane's fiancee... I would see it again just for him...sigh.....!

Re: Anyone go see "Superman Returns" yet?

totally agree with Red. I have no idea why it got 4 stars - it was slow at times and really cheesy at times.

I totally agree with this review
I was expecting it to be a LOT better .. DH and I were kind of disappointed.

It was good - dont get me wrong - but just not spectacular like I was hoping (and the reviewers made it out to be!)

Added: Oh and we saw it on IMAX /3-D and that (to me) wasn't worth the extra $$ ... the 3-D effect were cool but actually more distracting than anything - taking the glasses on/off started to irk me Chat Icon

Re: Anyone go see "Superman Returns" yet?

It was a movie that could have been made in the 80's

i saw nothing spectaular at all

well with the exception of how tight that front hair curl stayed....

i thought it was well done. yes, predictable, but its a comic book. they have to make it easy for 10 year old boys to understand Chat Icon

Chat Icon I was thinking that they might have brought back the STIFF STUFF to get Superman's curl to stay in place myself Chat Icon

I agree that Kevin Spacey was awesome - he's always awesome in everything - but the rest of the cast was just snoooze-ville Chat Icon
