Anyone go to or throw a party at the Mushroom at Lido Beach?
Just curious what you thought of it. Looking for a spot for my DD's birthday this summer. Thanks in advance.

many of my friends tried to do this for their kids (we all grew up in long beach) and it wasn't worth it. apparently it costs money per car to park there in the summer... something silly like $5-$10 per car. you can rent space in the mushrooms too but i think they aren't air conditioned so it depends what time of year you are planning.

Thank you for replying! Parking is actually $25 for non residents! Ridiculous. But for $150 bucks you get a mushroom from 9am - 7pm. I'm still iffy about it bc of the parking fee.

I wanted to but besides the fact that they said every saturday in July is booked the $25 per car fee really made me not want to do it even if it was available

I almost had my engagement party there a few yrs ago. I paid the reg fee and everything. But the with threat of a hurricane that day, we had it at home.
The smaller ones get rented pretty fast and you may have to share half of one.
