Anyone going on the South Nassau Hospital tour tonight?
I'm excited to tour South Nassau tonight! I've been there before to visit friends after they've given birth, but it's going to be different to see it as a mommy-to-be. Is anyone else going?

im not going, but can you please post an update ! I just found out that my doc applied to get her rights to deliver at South Nassau and I am super excited ! I hope it works out before Im ready to deliver !

So, we went to the orientation and tour, and OMG...the L&D and maternity rooms are gorgeous! I had been there before, but never looking at it from the perspective of a mommy-to-be. The rooms have hardwood floors, and are very warm...don't feel at all hospital-like, aside from the obvious beds.
The info session was very informative. The nurse walked us through the process step-by-step, so I feel more comfortable with what to expect as far as the basic admission process.
I really am so excited for my LO to arrive now....but he/she can hang in there for another couple of months!
