we went last thurs. the woman who did the tour was really nice. although i kinds freaked out when i saw the labor and delivery room its all becoming very real! im glad i opted out of the child birth class i dont think iwould be able to handle it!!!

Yeah I am the same way, I am not taking that class either, I don't think I would be able to handle it. I hope I don't freak out. We are going for our 30 week sono before the tour so I am hoping I am floating around till then since I haven't seen the little one in forever!

aawww you wll be fine no one is worse than me ! there were about 10 other couples when we went the maternity floor is really nice. its just hits you when your standing in one the rooms! and therwe are explaining to you where you have to go who you have to speak to etc. it hits home real quick lol but at least you get to see the little peanut first! thats what its all about!!

We went last Thursday - and the maternity ward is beautiful! It doesn't even smell like a hospital....
The tour was fine - very detailed like take this elevator, talk to the person @ this desk, if no one is there press this button....
They really spell it all out for you, it's exciting....ok and I got a bit emotional too.
We didn't see any "freshly" born babies - as they were all with the new mommies and daddies....

We also were there last Thursday night & met Jodee 
No need for a pencil & pad, everything they tell you truly is not hard to remember.
The maternity ward was beautiful, felt like I was in a resort & not a hospital. Like Jodee said, no hospital smell at all. Very clean & even the bathrooms in the room were spotless.
We didn't get to see the labor & delivery area bc they were having a busy night, but on the video the rooms are identical to the post-partum rooms.

no need for pen and pad. you'll remember everything.
L&D is exactly the same as maternity rooms except maternity rooms don't have the equipment that L&D does.
one of the best things is they let you use your cell phone anywhere--no need to rent the phone!

Since I'm dialating I might be there having a baby:) LOL.
I had DS#2 there and absolutely had a wonderful experience that's why I am delivering there again. Just wanted to give you a review.
Enjoy, it's a really nice hospita and the nurses are really nice.

I am not sure if Kissy agrees - but the tour could have been completed in about half the time.... our tour guide repeated things a bit... LOL - but still worth it and exciting...
