Anyone have a Crib that doesnt allow for a Mobile?
My brother and sis in law are due in a few weeks. They bought a crib where apparently the slats are too wide and will not allow for the Tiny love Mobile(a godsend)
They are going to look for a mobile that would fit--did this happen to anyone else?
My brother doesnt realize the importance of a mobile to the baby and HIS sanity

Yes my DH had to rig up his own invention for both of my kids.

i told my bro that he would have to do this but he is scared it will fall etc

both my cribs didn't allow for mobile. my kids did okay without it.

There is a mobile that fits!! I bought and returned so many that said they "fit most cribs" until I found this one. The Tiny Love Symphony, Lights, and Motion mobile should fit. It has an adjustable strap so it can fit around wide bars. Tiny Love mobiles are awesome!

my mobile didnt fit well on my cribs ( i have twins) but i got creative and it worked. but i have seen mobiles that mount to the wall and then you can use it for any crib. another option is to get a mobile that makes a light show on the ceiling ( a few of the fisher price ones do ) and put it on a shlef or dresser near the crib and then the baby can see the lights which is likely all the can see if its dark anyway!

Yes, this happened to us with the Baby's Dream crib. We ended up getting the FP one that had the fish mobile and projected on the ceiling for DS. It has a table-top option, so we just put it on the table next to his crib.

This is the mobile I had to get too b/c the Tiny Love didn't fit on our crib.
