Anyone have a DC who is afraid of the dark?
When did it start?
DH said Christopher has been waking up from his nap late and it is dark out and he FREAKS out and Chris thinks it is b/c it is dark in there.
Did you get a nightlight? Did that help? Any advice would be appreciated!

no real advice as DS doesn't sleep with a night light either but some that you figure out whats causing him to be upset after his naps.

I don't know if they are afraid of the dark but both my DC have a night light that is sensored so it automatically goes on when it gets dark - maybe that would help

honeslty no clue but they sell them in the grocery store - the ones my kids have match their rooms so tommy has baseball and amanda has pooh

I have those too...you can get them anywhere...home depot, babies r us, even the supermarket!
I don't know if DD is afraid of the dark, because she has always had a nightlight in her room since birth!
