Anyone have a great recipe for chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies?
Our new neighbor was so sweet and baked us a few cookies the other day. They were (from what I could tell) chocolate chip, coconut, macadamia nut cookies. And they were to-die-for
I've been craving them ever since. DOes anyone have a recipe for cookies like this. It doesnt have to be the same, but just something other than the same old classic chocolate chip cookies.
Also - I always have the problem where my cookies get flat when I bake them, so if anyone has any tips to keep them big and "fluffy" and crumbly that would be great!

I haven't tried those yet, but I heard they taste similar to the ones at subway that I love, except more real/homemade.

Re: Anyone have a great recipe for chocolate chip macadamia nut cookies?
I have used this recipe a bunch of times and I always get raves about it.
White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies Ingredients 1/2 cup butter 3/4 cup white sugar 1 egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1/2 teaspoon salt 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped 1 (6.5 ounce) jar macadamia nuts, chopped
Directions 1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). 2.In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and sugar. Stir in the egg and vanilla. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt, stir into the creamed mixture. Finally, stir in the white chocolate and nuts. Drop cookies by heaping teaspoonfuls onto an ungreased cookie sheet, about 2 inches apart. 3.Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, until lightly browned. Cool on wire racks. When cool, store in an airtight container
