Anyone have a Health Savings Account (HSA) for insurance?
Our employer switched our insurance effective Aug 1 to an HSA. I used to have some coverage. $30 copay, 6 IUI's covered and most of my meds. Now I am clueless with this HSA thing. It says under infertility "not covered" so I am assuming that on August 1 I will lose any coverage that I had, right?

HSA is unrelated to IF coverage. It is a "savings account" specifically for your health insurance since you have a high deductible plan and not a traditional PPO. You would need to look into your exact health insurance plan to know what your IF coverage is. We had UHC with an HSA and we had IF coverage.

Agree. An HSA is like an alternative to flex spending. It usually accompanies a high deductible plan. You pay for any medical expenses (copays but also things not covered by your insurance) with pretax dollars but it's not use it or lose it like a flex spending account. Your plan likely Changed as well which would impact your IF coverage. I would call and ask.
I switched from an Aetna HMO with a flex spending account and no IF coverage to a united healthcare high deductive plan with an HSA and no IF coverage. But my new insurance does cover acu!
