Anyone have a healthy meal plan for after birth?
I'm going to be nursing but I also want to drop the weight. I would like to follow a strict food plan that gives the baby what he needs but only allows me the exact amount of calories I need.

I am going to just go back to the way i was before being pregnant. I really limited my carbs, but didn't cut them out and tried to watch what I ate. Hopefully that works and up the cardio!

Be careful when nursing. If you don't eat enough calories you won't make enough milk. It took 9 months to put the weight on so don't worry if it doesn't disappear overnight It will come off.

Re: Anyone have a healthy meal plan for after birth?
With DS, I ate the same amount of calories that I did when I was pregnant and was amazed at the amount of weight that came off simply by pumping milk. DS was on BM exclusively for about 7 months, but I got the weight off within 2 months.
My backup plan if the weight didn't come off was to go back on Weight Watchers. They have a plan designed for nursing mothers.

Going on Jenny Craig after 6 weeks PP( that is the earliest you can start ) . I gained 20 pounds before even getting pregnant, so I need to lose alot more and I need the discipline . WW is great also, but for me at this point I need my meals all planned out for me because I am weak
