Re: Anyone have a panasonic DVD video camera and a Mac?
The box says it is supported for mac and windows - but the disk it came with is for windows only - I do have an USB cable that I have plugged in - but when I go to Panasonic - it has an updater for Imagemixer but I don't have imagemixer. I do get some cd disk that shows up on the computer but I can't play it.
I have the VDR-D220

Okay I tried those things - I get a DVD icon that says MEI_UDF.
When I open it I get DVD_RTAV - and open that it has three things VR_MANGR.BUP VR_MANGR.IFO VR_MOVIE.VRO
I click on the first it says it isn't a video file The second says no default application selected you have to select a program to open it. Nothing happens when I try to click on the third

Hmm..it already wrote it to DVD.
This is why I don't like straight to DVD camcorders cause you don't get to edit them..(easily)...
I'm sure there is a way to do it. I would check out the manual...

Re: Anyone have a panasonic DVD video camera and a Mac?
I ran into this problem this week with a canon dvd camcorder that i just bought for video..and my mac
I'm returning for a miniDV camera that can upload the the computer...
And don't put the little dvd-r into the mac (if it's a sliding drive and not a pull-out drive like that on most windows machines) because it will get stuck in there.

But I can't even upload what is on the mini dvd to the internet - I am really just looking to share my videos of my DD with my family and friends. I don't care as much about the edit but it would be nice.
