Not a recipe, but I buy Makoto ginger dressing in the supermarket. It's usually near the refrigerated produce.

It tastes just like what they have in the restaurants!

This is a ginger-carrot dressing from my DH:

Chat Icon Ginger-Carrot Dressing
The ginger carrot dressing is done so many ways. One easy way is to put a little piece of ginger half inch to an inch cube in the blender with a couple tablespoons of rice vinegar- give it a whir and then strain it for the juice. Then put the juice back in the blender with 1 chopped up carrot. Usually people lightly cook the carrot but that's if you prefer that flavor. Anything else is just extra. You can put a little oil (a few Tbs) or a lot (up to a 1/2 cup- Edited) and some recipes add a touch of toasted sesame oil for aroma. Then salt, pepper, any other herb that goes with the meal like a little chives or even a touch of sugar.

There is another one in the regrigerator aisle that is really good too. I really wish I could remember the name brand! Chat Icon Shorter, rounder bottle. Orange and green label. YUM!

ETA I checked the bottle when I got home and the label was ripped halfway off. Go figure.
