Re: Anyone have a Wok ????

Does she want an electric one or one that goes on top of the stove?

Re: Anyone have a Wok ????

Huh....Good Question!!

I'm guessing on top of the stove but is one "better" then the other?

She's no gourmet cook so maybe the electric would be easier.Chat Icon

Re: Anyone have a Wok ????

I had better results with my electric wok. It cooked more evenly and I didn't have to hold the pan and flip stuff around as much. Better for an amateur wokking person.

I have one...and love it! I believe we got it from Macy's or Linens n Things. Mine is the regular one you put on the stove top.

I do, but it's still in a box in my storage closet, along with a bunch of other appliances! Chat Icon

ETA: I meant my electric one is still in the box. I have a Circulon stovetop one that I use regularly.

Re: Anyone have a Wok ????

we just threw out our old Non-stick wok (DO NOT EVERY BUY ONE)

we got a new one at Kohls - granted, it has to be "seasoned", but it's supposedly the best type (carbon steel) to get....
