Does anyone cook with a wok?
my DH wants a wok so badly! so i am gonna get it for him as one of his x-mas presents! also gonna look for some wok cookbooks. if you have one, do you use it alot?

Have one, thought I would use it all the time.
I used it once, I think I used the wrong oil or something because it is all discolored now. Afraid to use it again!

I've probably only used it a couple of times. I just never think to take it out of the closet.

one imoportant thing is you need to season a wok both before you use it and then again every time you wash it. Put a thin layer of oil(olive, veg. whatever) and wipe it with a paper towel.

Honestly --- it is DH's. I think it takes up too much room, and I'd just as soon use a regular frying pan...
