Anyone have back problems b4 pregnancy?
How did you deal with it? I have had back issues (lower back pain, sciatica) and I am so worried how I will make it through, especially in the third trimester when alot of women get back pain anyway.

I had back problems before getting preg. I did have some pretty bad Sciatica pains from the very beg. just lay down take it easy...my last tri. i started going for massages they worked pretty good...but i found just laying down and doing nothing for a bit and letting DH carry the laundry etc helped alot!

I had lower back problems and sciatica before getting pg. We got a new bed right when I first got pg and that seemed to help. It's only in the past week or so that it has really started to bother me. I had pain every now and then. I am 38w5d.

Re: Anyone have back problems b4 pregnancy?
i had pretty bad back problems before pregnancy too....had spinal fusion surgery in feb 05 (i have titanium rods and screws, hooks up and down my spine)...so, i knew pain was inevitable. my first pregnancy actually wasn't as bad as this one....i guess bc now i'm carrying around an 18 month old also. i occassionally take extra strength tylenol...but otherwise, i just try and rest as much as i can. unfortunately...as bad as the pain is now, i know it will be better eventually. good luck to you!!!! its worth every bit of pain!!!
