Anyone have thyroid problems after pregnancy?
I have lost an additional 15 pounds from my prepregnancy weight. Some may say great...but that's not the case for me.
My friend, who is a dietician, suggested that I get checked out by a doctor to check my thyroid. Has anyone every had this problem before?

My girlfriend suffers from hyperthyroid. She loss alot of weight because her metabolism is constantly going and she also suffers from hair loss as well.

I had hyperthyroid (grave's disease) in the past-- the main symptom was unexplained weight loss. It wasn't pregnancy related though, it was years before I had DS.
Treating this is very easy though, if you do have a problem.

my stepmom had a hyper thyroid, but I think she had it before having her sons also.
She had to have radiation as well as medication for it. She couldn't crack 100 lbs if she tried before treatment
