Anyone have Empire Blue Cross- Direct HMO ???
MY DH boss just changed our insurance from a Cigna HMO to a Blue Cross Direct HMO, claims it is better....Since its still an HMO I'm assuming the IF benefits will still stink, but figured I'd ask if any of you guys have this plan and what, if anything is covered...Thanks !

I dont think so- On the enrollment form , it said Direct HMO and one of the other choices was DPOS (maybe thats the one you have ??)

It has nothing to do with whether its a hmo, ppo etc..
Your benefits are determined by your employer, not Empire BCBS and not the plan.
Many get confused about this.
Two people can both have HMOS and have totally different benefits.
Call and ask them and get a benefit book mailed to you.
