Anyone have experience with single umbilical artery
My friend just found out at her Level II that her baby has this and is really upset about it. She is probably going to get the amnio. It seems like it could be something major...or nothing at all. Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks.

yes this was me with DS...He'll be 1 in may... I was just monitored more... lots of sonos. I refused the amnio... It didn't effect his growth...he was born at 20 1/2 inches and 7lbs 10oz ...very healthy... due to this single cord...we induced at 39 wks....all was well! Tell her its not bad...she'll just have lots of sonos...
